Made with 100% beeswax, which many benefits include:
º naturally purifies the air by releasing negative ions
º light emitted from these candles is much stronger/brighter than any other candle
º no toxicity: since these are natural, they don't produce toxic byproducts or heavy soot when burned
º burn stronger and brighter due to higher melting point
º hypoallergenic: allergy friendly since these are unscented as I leave them to their natural scent
Sourced in the heart of southern New Jersey, in the state known as The Garden State, these bees do not disappoint. This isn't a one man show. Far from it, in fact. There's me, Danny -- I shape the wax and send it off to you, and the bees, they do all of the real work. One bee has to consume around 6-8 pounds of honey to produce 1 pound of wax. The bees make it. I shape it. You...take it? (I tried.)
Lavender, mint, sunflowers, wildflower, sage, orange blossom -- just of a few of the vibrant flowers and plants that host the bees down here in Jersey. This creates a plethora of different flavor profiles from the honey that is produced; that, then, directly affects the scent of beeswax. Ranging from a warm, rich, sweet honey scent to light subtle natural hints, beeswax requires no additives. Enjoy nature's own warm, sweet smelling candle, imported to you from The Garden State =)
Continuing to support local beekeepers promotes the health & longevity of our bees, that have been falling victim to CCD (Colony Collapse Disorder), who are also responsible for pollinating many of the plants that provide so much of the food we eat.
Since I buy beeswax from a variety of different local beekeepers, there may be some variation in the color of the beeswax. Beeswax color varies depending on the type of pollen that the bees use, age of wax, climate, etc. Colors will range from gold/yellow to even a darker shade of orange. Beeswax is naturally aromatic from the honey and floral nectar that’s found in the honeycomb. — some beeswax smelling stronger than others - this is, again, contingent on what the bees are pollenating. I let nature decide the smell :) I hand-pour all of the candles myself! Since they are handmade, expect there to be some variation from candles shown in the pictures. Locally sourced, these delicious natural honey-scented candles are unique and make a beautiful addition to your home. Burning beeswax candles purifies the air around you by negating and dragging down the positively charged ions in the air that include dirt, allergens, dust, etc. They will also leave a delicious hint of a warm honey scent - naturally.
